First Visit

At ADAvet, our goal is to provide the highest quality medicine possible through compassionate and professional care in a friendly environment where our clients and their pets are treated like family. From puppies and kittens, to seniors and exotics - we provide everything your pet needs to stay happy and healthy. Below is some information to help you and your pet prepare for their first visit.

The lobby area is divided into two seating sections—one for our canine patients and one for our feline and more reserved canine patients. We do ask that you kindly keep your dogs leashed at all times and that your cats be kept in carriers while in the lobby. If you or your pet are more comfortable waiting in an exam room, or out in your car, please do not hesitate to speak to one of our team members and we will do our best to accommodate special requests.

Please bring your pet’s complete medical history, including vaccinations, prior labwork, and a list of diets and medications. You may email or fax this information to us prior to your visit so the doctor can review it.

Lastly, we ask that you review our electronic puppy or kitten packs below, where you will find lots of information that covers common questions and concerns.  You can also bring a list of questions or concerns for your veterinarian—don’t hesitate to ask anything about your pet’s health and behavior.
